
You will need a Microsoft team to begin your teamwork collaboration. Setting up Teams is simple and takes only a few clicks; all that is required is a Team name and a description, after which team members can be added. A new Team will create a matching Office 365 Group, OneNote, SharePoint site, and Plan.
Login To Teams
Open your Teams application that is installed on your PC or login to teams.microsoft.com to access the browser version of Team’s
Create A Team
Click on the Teams icon in the left panel -> Join or create a Team -> Create Team

Select A Team
If you’d like to use a particular team type select it, otherwise, choose “Other”. Each team type has slightly different permissions and OneNote notebook types (a Class Notebook for type Class or a Staff Notebook for type Staff).

Team name: Please make sure to go by correct naming criteria based on your organization.
- Private (1) team – Closed team, you will be responsible for adding team members. This is an ideal choice for the project or department team where you want to limit access to the data stored there. The collaboration will be available only to the team members.
- Public (2) team – Open team, you allow people to freely join this team. This is a flexible model of collaboration when you want to engage an as large group of people as possible.

Add Members
You can now add members to the Team unless you prefer to configure the Team settings before adding the members. However, you have the option to add members at this moment. They will get an email letting them know you’ve added them to your Team when you add new team members. Simply type the name of the user to add to System Office/CCC. Any other person outside of your organization must be added using their email address.

Before team members begin using your team, we advise taking a look at the options (Manage Team – Settings) and setting them up from the beginning. You should study Member and Guest rights, and we advise deactivating the following Member permissions to get things started:
